What We Fund
Social Work Program
In 2022, the DGPL Foundation began funding a stipend to compensate two interns as part of the library’s social work program. The program continues to grow, with one-on-one interactions connecting patrons to resources for housing, employment, counseling, and more increasing year after year.
Public Art
We are proud to fund gifts that enhance the library’s art collection and cultural programming, providing access to the arts for all. The foundation’s support directly aligns with the library’s strategic objectives to enrich the community’s experience through art displays and collections and to connect people to arts and cultural programs that embrace equity, diversity, and inclusion. Plus, our library is the only free public art gallery in town!
