SOLD OUT – Thank you!
Join the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation on Wednesday, April 9 from 6-9pm at Skeleton Key Brewery to celebrate National Library Week!
This 21+ event will include a private, pre-release screening of the film Banned Together (see additional info below), book pull, raffle, and special performances. Let’s raise a glass together to celebrate the freedom to read and the library we all love!

Can’t make it? Consider making a donation to help us support the library as a place where everyone can discover, grow, play, and learn.
Banned Together (2024)
Banned Together follows the evolution of three young women in their senior year of high school as they advocate against censorship at school board meetings, sit down with national politicians, famous authors, and constitutional scholars, and ultimately, speak on stage at the Right to Read Rally during the American Library Association’s annual conference in Chicago.
